The English Malt Tax of 1725 forced the greatest Whisky distillers to go underground. Using secret locations, small groups or clubs were formed to distill, taste and refine their craft. Legend has it, a small group called the Forbidden Whisky Club tasted some of the rarest and greatest whiskies. Today, we continue that tradition, by meeting in secret, to taste some of the finest whisky the world has to offer.
